8. Warranty on products purchased
8.1. Jewelry warranty:
Manufacturing defects warranty for gold jewelry lasts for a 3-month period. This warranty does not cover defects due to normal wear, or damages caused by misuse of the product, such as:
- Chain or bracelet bursted.
- Broken or lost precious gemstones, or any jewel gemstone setting..
- Jewel damage caused by contact with sweat, chlorine, salt water, chemicals, cleaning products, make-up, hot water, perfumes, lotions and lacquers.
- A change of natural state of the precious and semi-precious gemstone.
- White gold jewelry requires periodic maintenance (Rhodium plating) to preserve brightness and color. The rhodium plating tends to be lost as a result of routine wear, contact with lotions, perfumes and soaps. This is not a manufacturing product defect, thus, it does have warranty coverage.
- Enameled jewelry, gemstones, pearls and semi-precious stones are especially sensitive to impacts. The warranty does not cover stones breakage, nor pearls take-offs.
- Stone jewelry experience changes due to normal wear deterioration, when it hits or is scratched on hard surfaces. This causes the stones to come loose, thus this is not a product defect and it is not covered by the warranty.
- Some bracelets and chains knitting over time stretches, it does not mean this is a manufacturing defect.
SAMARA JEWELRY SAS jewels are handcrafted. As a consequence, they may have special and natural characteristics associated with materials used in their manufacturing process. It may sometimes result in texture variation or differences in characteristics from one product to another. The above-mentioned cannot be considered a defect at any time, and therefore warranty is not applied.
If the jewelry is purchased through a SAMARA JEWELRY SAS authorized wholesaler who are published on the website: www.samarajewelry.co, the warranty request must be addressed directly to the authorized wholesaler.
8.2. Procedure for claiming the warranty
Contact SAMARA JEWELRY SAS via email: firstname.lastname@example.org requesting the respective repair format. It must be filled out by the customer.
The customer will send the jewel, the invoice, the warranty certificate, the original packaging and the filled format to SAMARA JEWELRY SAS facilities. The shipping costs are charged to the client.
Once the product is received, it will be sent to the company’s workshop where it will be checked by a qualified technician. The response will be given in ten (10) business days. The stipulated period does not include the required time for the product reparation.
8.3. Exchange Policy
Merchandise can be only exchanged within five (05) calendar days starting the product delivery date. As long as the product is in perfect condition, is unworn, is returned in its original packaging altogether with the warranty certificate and the original invoice.
Products sold by clearances, promotions, or sales, CANNOT BE EXCHANGED.
After a product has been exchanged, no other exchange can be made on the same item.
Modified jewelry (size change or markings) will not be exchanged.

9. Online purchases
For online purchases, the customer must have in mind the following principles:
- Online purchases are subject to product availability.
- A minimum of 24 hours is required to confirm the online payment by credit, debit or deposits.
- In order to receive or claim a purchase, it is necessary to show the buyer or authorized person’s ID card.
- Images published on the website are enlarged to show the article’s details. Therefore, it is not the product actual size. In addition, its color may vary by light effect.
10. Product prices
All product prices listed on the website www.samarajewelry.co include VAT (value-added tax) and other taxes. However, these prices do not include the product's shipping costs. Our products prices are subject to changes without notice. Likewise, expenses for tariffs and taxes generated by other countries' authorities on sales made outside Colombia are excluded, and these expenses are charged to the customer.
11. Policies and Delivery Times
SAMARA JEWELRY SAS is committed to deliver the product in perfect conditions to the customer’s address indicated on the order form.
SAMARA JEWELRY SAS will not be responsible for delivery mistakes when the delivery address indicated by the customer on the order form is inaccurate or incorrect.
SAMARA JEWELRY SAS is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or external agents in the delivery.
Deliveries to Colombia. Products in stock are shipped within five (5) business days of payment confirmation. For products ordered to be manufactured, the dispatch may be made up between thirty (30) and forty (40) business days following payment confirmation.
International deliveries. Products in stock are shipped within fifteen (15) business days prior payment confirmation. For products ordered to be manufactured, the dispatch may be made up between thirty (30) and forty (40) business days following payment confirmation.
12. Payments for products
The customer is committed to pay the total amount of his/her order at the moment he/she confirms his/her purchase order. To do so, we have arranged all the payment services required through Mercado Pago. Payments by credit card will be carried out under Mercado Pago security protocols. Shipping charges will be added to the initial price for each offered posted at www.samarajewelry.co. By all means, we will inform our customers of such charges before the payment transaction is complete.
